Last week, the SEIU bargaining team at Essentia Deer River filed a 10-day notice for an Unfair Labor Practice Strike. The Union includes 70 members in a variety of roles across the hospital and nursing home including Skilled Maintenance, Technical and Service job categories. The strike is scheduled to begin at 7am on Monday, November 4th and to continue for five days, commencing at 7am on November 9th.

All members who are available to join us on the strike line are encouraged to do so. Active picketing will take place from 7am to 7pm each day of the strike!
