Last week, SEIU members at Essentia Deer River conducted a 5-day ULP strike. The fight for a fair contract continues as a new deal has not been reached to settle the issues in disagreement. The Union bargaining team met with management on Wednesday last week and will return to negotiations with the help of a federal mediator on Wednesday November 13th.
